If the Children’s Health Fund (CHF) could say one thing about Julianne Moore, I bet they’d say she has a squeaky clean heart. That’s because she teamed up with Clorox yesterday to announce the launch of “Connect Kids to Care” program, a multi-year program that will help support CHF’s goal of providing half a million health care visits to disadvantaged children across the country, over the next two years.
At the New York Children’s Health Project, Moore visited with children whose lives have been changed by CHF and spoke about the new social media-driven campaign that will allow people to help CHF and Clorox connect kids in need to ongoing health care.
This is why Moore is undoubtedly an excellent role model to young actresses like Amanda Seyfried, who’s slated to work with her in an upcoming film, and possibly but not yet confirmed Kristen Stewart.
That little kid looks thrilled, doesn’t he?
He should! As part of its commitment to preventive health for families, Clorox is donating half a million dollars to CHF to help support their goal. In addition, Clorox is donating $1.00 to CHF for each new fan on the Clorox Facebook page, up to $100,000.
Let’s make that kid smile, go become a fan pronto!
