Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were caught sharing a kiss after he won for best new artist. “I’m 17 and I want to thank God because he has blessed me so much,” he said, as his mom and Gomez sat next to each other watching the pop star dole out thanks.

The young couple didn’t hide their affection for each other as Bieber dominated the awards ceremony in Las Vegas. 18-year-old Gomez followed up her kiss by hugging the ‘Baby’ star, who was sporting a sparkling gold tuxedo. The couple has previously refused to comment on their rumored relationship, but recent photographs of the pair hand-in-hand had all but confirmed the speculation.

After beating Bruno Mars and rapper Nicki Minaj to the ‘Best New Artist’ prize at last night’s ceremony, Bieber told the audience, “I’m 17. every day is crazy to me because I see so many people and I get to make so many people smile”. The 17-year-old also scooped the prize for ‘Digital Artist of the Year’, ‘Fan Favorite of the Year’, ‘Top Social Artist’, ‘Top Streaming Artist’, ‘Top Pop Album’ and ‘Top Pop Album’.
