If you grew up in the 1990s and early 2000s then you remember when Justin Timberlake was first and foremost a singer. First he was with ‘N SYNC making hearts melt, then he went out on his own. Do you remember “Like I Love U”??? Well, according to Justin, music is his “bread and butter” and he will be back to it soon.

Justin told MTV that this whole movie he’s started has gotten in the way, but he by no means wants to only be an actor. “All the movies I’ve done were just opportunities that came up, but now that they’re all coming out back-to-back, people think, ‘Oh, he’s trying to make a statement by having an acting career. But it’s not like that for me. I don’t ever want to stop doing music.” At least he’s good an acting. I mean, winning an Emmy for it is kind of a big deal.

Justin recently gave an impromptu performance of some classics at his New York eatery, but that doesn’t count Justin! We need an album, a tour and for the love of all that is holy we need an ‘N SYNC reunion. Sadly, according to the man himself a new record won’t be out for awhile. “I have nothing on my plate for the rest of the year. I’m getting sick of me,” he told MTV.

Well Justin, we’re not sick of you yet, at least I’m not, but release an album. Come on. Don’t do Dirty Dancing the film, go make an album about dirty dancing.
