Song-and-dance man Justin Timberlake was recently seen meeting up with director Guy Ritchie for what we thought was simply a rowdy boys night out. But it seems these two were mixing business with pleasure, as Guy has his heart set on having Justin star in an upcoming film project.
The Sherlock Holmes director is looking to pair up with Justin for his film version of Guys and Dolls, as well as a remake of the war flick, Wild Geese. Ritchie was impressed with Timberlake’s performance in Alpha Dog and is hoping the pop star’s popularity will bring fans to the box office.
In addition, the two seem to get along on a personal level. “[Guy] likes [Timberlake's] personality. Justin would be ideal for Guys and Dolls because he can act, dance and sing,” a source dished to The Sun.
Well, although Guy didn’t have nearly as much success the last time he tried to build a movie around a pop star (*ahem* Madonna), at least Justin’s clearly got the moves and the comedic timing.
