Kanye West Claims He’s The Voice Of This Generation

November 14th, 2008 // 9 Comments

Kanye West has had an interesting few weeks – getting blamed by Suge Knight for his gunshot wound, urinating on the Ting Tings, and now this…

In an interview on Wednesday, West said “I realize that my place and position in history is that I will go down
as the voice of this generation, of this decade, I will be the loudest
voice. It’s me settling into
that position of just really accepting that it’s one thing to say you
want to do it and it’s another thing to really end up being like
Michael Jordan.”

The Grammy-winner went on to rip Justin Timberlake, saying that Timberlake blew his chance to be the greatest. “There were people who had the potential to do it but they went on
vacation, so when Justin went on vacation I made albums,” he said. “And
it just came out to be that.”

Well I’m glad that’s settled. Kanye is the voice of our generation. Much like Britney is the brains of our generation. And Paris the chastity. Wow, our generation sucks.

We must be the negative douche bag generation then. I for one just wish he would SHUT THE HELL UP.
The “George Bush doesn’t like black people” thing was priceless though. I’ll give him that and that is it!

You could build monuments to his ego and Kanye still wouldn’t be satisfied.

This prick thinks he’s the voice of the generation? Since when did you get the right to crown yourself instead of letting said generation decide? Shut up, just go crawl into a hole and shut up so we don’t have to hear you whine, complain, and throw tantrums like an 8-year-old because you believe the world revolves around you.

    F*ck off Kanye.

i am beyond sick of his ego. I can not think of one thing he has ever done to warrant his behavior.

I am ashamed to be classified as even the same age group as him. It’s a real tragedy that his mother has passed away. I hope somebody helps him out with grieving and changing his attitude. With that pissing on the floor incident, it sounds like he’s on his way to a slow nosedive.
