Singing Rihanna‘s praises on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show this morning, Kanye West claims that she has the potential “to be the greatest artist of all time.” West also gave his reaction to the news of Chris Brown‘s alleged attack on the “Disturbia” singer.
Explaining that he considered his former tour mate Rihanna to be an honorary “baby sis,” he told Ryan that he was “devastated” to hear that the pop star had been rushed to the hospital for treatment to injuries sustained from a beating.
West admitted that he found out just before his “American Boy” performance at the Grammys and was shaken throughout his entire performance.

If this was Chris Brown laying into Rihanna, chances are it isn’t the first time, if only because he is likely to have been using his fists in a less public place previously.
Good for Kanye for supporting Rihanna. It doesn’t matter one lick if she “did anything” to Chris Brown or not, he should be held 100% accountable for anything he did.
Now i like kanye west, but i have to say this – his comments about rihanna are just about the nicest words i have ever heard him utter. It is nice to see him looking out for someone else and for him to be protective of her speaks volumes. Here’s to hoping that, if guilty, chris brown receives the biggest ass kicking of all time from jay-z, timbaland, and kanye.
