Kanye West bears the paparazzi no ill will despite being pinched yesterday for beating up some cameras at LAX. After his release on $20,000 bail, he grabbed his trusty Mac and blogged off a brief note to a public that dying to hear if he was ok. I know I was. Kanye is a precious resource for us all.

“I’m cool with the paparazzi. This guy wasn’t cool. We back in the lab now!” he wrote, referring to one of the paps that he and his road manager allegedly brawled with. “I gotta work now … I’ll
rant later!”

West and his friend were charged with felony vandalism for causing over $10,000 worth of damage to cameras.

Kanye’s currently in Hawaii, working on his new album and trying on sarongs to wear on the beach, presumably with some sort of delicious scarf to cover his moobs.
