Outspoken rapper Kanye West is as well-known for his chart-topping hits as he is for his on and off stage bravado. But his impromptu bathroom break in the dressing he shared with the band the Ting Tings was shocking, even for him.
In town to receive his Ultimate Urban award at the MTV Europe Music Awards, fashion-conscious West hit up the Carling Academy the night before with a gang of other celebrities.
At one point during the evening, Kanye scooted backstage to relieve himself and when he didn’t immediately find a bathroom, he took a piss on the dressing room floor. Jules de Martino, drummer for the band said at the awards show, “We ask for a lot of unusual things on our backstage rider but that ain’t one of them!”
Well now the dressing room is his!
