The rapper recently found himself facing a very upset audience at the Bonnaroo festival in Manchester, Tennessee. By the time Kanye West stepped on stage early Sunday for his performance it was 4:25 a.m., well past his scheduled arrival of 2:45 a.m.

Despite any belief that West’s tardiness was a result of his trademark diva behavior, he was held up by the construction of his elaborate stage. In addition, the preceding band, Pearl Jam, ran an hour long.

That’s when the crowd started chanting, “Kanye Sucks” and about midway through his performance it was obvious that the crowd had thinned considerably. To console himself, here’s Kanye enjoying a day out shopping and eating with his bodyguard, an activity sure to cheer up even the most depressed rapper.

I’d still rather face an angry mob than be in attendance at an event that was letting Mike Tyson loose. Kanye’s a brave man.
