The producers of American Idol have announced that songwriter Kara DioGuardi will be the new FOURTH judge for the long-running hackfest for singers’ eighth season beginning in January.
The maniacal Paula Abdul must have just downed her remaining bottle of Nembutol and then called up her Dr. Feelgood for more pills upon hearing this news. COMPETITION!
Producers say that they always intended for there to be a fourth judge on the program.
“We are turning the heat up on Idol this year and are thrilled to
welcome Kara to the judges’ table,” show creator Simon Fuller said.
DioGuardi has written songs for the Jonas Brothers, Gwen Stefani, Pink, and many others.
This news might have shocked Paula more than we thought. She has gone in for neck surgery to relieve pain from an old cheerleading injury. HA Ha Paula fooled them all. Kara is her friend and protege. Smart of her to keep it quiet until they hired her. She now has someone on her side
