Kate Middleton And Her Clothes Arrive In Canada [PHOTOS]

They’re here! They’re here!  Wills and Kate touched down in Ottawa this afternoon to kick off their North American tour.  And may I just say, “Welcome TRH.”  William looked as sharp as he always does, and Kate continued to keep it real in a navy lace dress by Montreal-born/London-based designer Erdem Moralioglu (she changes on planes.  This girl is a a duchess of the people).  Methinks she stuck with her tried-and-true nude LK Bennett pumps, as if saying to the people of Canada: “Yes, I might travel with my own hair stylist.  But I also know that one needn’t stock their closet with hundreds of nude heels by different designers.  Just one pair will do, thank you.” Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge: 1  Overpaid Celebrities: 0.

We checked in with the Daily Mail to get some details on what’s going on with Day 1 of “We Love The Duke And Duchess” tour, and it turns out Canada commissioned a special flag in Will and Kate’s honor, something that hasn’t been done since Queen Elizabeth’s official visit back in 1962 (check out an image of the flag in our gallery.  It’s very royal).

After landing at Macdonald-Cartier International Airport, the couple were driven to the National Memorial where they laid a wreath on the grave of the unknown soldier.  Tomorrow Will and Kate will partake in National Canada Day celebrations, but we’re really just here to see what HRH shows up in.  And did you check out her luggage by the plane?  Such an everyday gal toting her Longchamp bag across the sea, that Kate.
