The stunning Kate Winslet opted for a simple black sheath by St. John and shoes by Roger Vivier at the exhibition opening night gala for ‘Impact: 50 Years of the CFDA’ at The Fashion Institute of Technology last night (February 9th) in New York.
The Oscar/Emmy/Golden Globe winner (a top notch star) viewed designs that made a real impact in fashion, including Diane von Furstenberg‘s original wrap dress from the ’70s. ‘This dress happened, and it was a phenomenon. Before I knew it we were making 25,000 a week, and it was madness,” von Furstenberg said earlier this week, according to the Daily Mail.
