Just don’t tell the other party that it’s over and you can avoid all that messy awkwardness that typifies the end of a relationship. Kate Hudson was apparently shaken after hearing that photos taken of her and her then-romantic interest, Dax Shepard, had upset her ex-boyfriend, Owen Wilson, so much that he had attempted to take his own life. Shortly thereater, she abruptly ended the relationship she’d been having with Shepard since this past July. The only thing is that she reportedly didn’t bother informing Dax of the news. OK! Magazine reports:
“Dax got a phone call about it from a friend. He’s upset that she didn’t bother to say anything to him.”
Yeah, that’s pretty shady. But then again, that Dax guy seems like he could be annoying. And that’s pretty much reason enough for any bad treatment, in my eyes. And if you’re wondering if I believe that being annoying nullifies a person’s right to be treated with the common courtesy deserved of any normal human being, then you can stop wondering because yes, that is exactly what I believe.

I’m almost positive the “Owen tried to kill himself because of Kate” rumor is crap invented by the tabloids for drama purposes. Wilson has apparently been troubled for some time.
But yeah, I think even a relationship as non-serious as this one with Dax Shepard deserved to be ended in a more dignified way. (The preceding being the first time “Dax Shepard” and “dignified” ever appeared in the same sentence.)

Ever since I saw “Idocracy” with Dax and Luke Wilson, I can’t decide who’s shadier; Dax for going out with Kate, since obviously he’s “friends” with the Wilson’s or Kate for going out with someone who she probably met through Owen. Either way, the speculation is the only thing keeping Kate Hudson in the tabloids anyway.

I think it was wise for her to break up with him. The fact that he has his bangs pulled up with a mini hair scrunchy is enough to kick his A** to the curb!
Seriously, that was a crappy thing to do. At least she could have broken up with him thru a text message!

Well, if you knew Dax Shepard, you would know that he is NOT annoying whatsoever. By the way, Kate was trying to control him and he got sick of it sooooo, she says “later”, and not to his face; hence she is a coward. She has shown to be utterly insecure: She used Dax as BAIT to get Owen jealous and it backfired. Both Dax and Owen are better off without this insecure Hollywood brat. Shoooweeeet!
