Kate Winslet: Is Vanity Unfair?

November 4th, 2008 // 2 Comments

The Titanic actress’ stunning Vanity Fair photoshoot for both the cover and inside the magazineresulted in dropped jaws at her perfect skin and flawless figure. However, now Kate Winslet is facing accusations from British tabloids that her curvaceous figure had been whittled down considerably through the use of airbrushing techniques.

An airbrush artist gave the Daily Mail
their two cents on the photospread and claimed that Winslet’s face and
figure were highly retouched, so much so that the title of the article
said the actress was “barely recognizable.”

In response, Kate’s rep refuted the claim to People magazine
saying, “[Kate] is in terrific shape and what you see is how she looks
or she would never have agreed to pose for those shots.” Touch-ups were
only made to correct skin shades, her publicist insists.

Please, at least it’s not like Mariah Carey whose photos consistently look like she was painted onto the hood of a shiny Cadillac Eldorado.

  1. pit it

After she’ve proclaimed that her and Seal will leave the country if McCain wins I don’t want to see her face anymore.

I’m not a McCain fan but she is not even an American Citizen in order to have a God damn opinion! She can’t vote!

Pay taxes and than open your big mouth, you wonky eyed bitch!

Er, you might want to check who you are talking about. This is Kate Winslet. Seal is married to Heidi Klum and he was the one who said (in Vanity Fair) they would leave the country if McCain was elected.
