It’s a little too early for Katharine McPhee to be messing with the American Idol fans. She’s been MIA from the tour for the last couple of weeks due to “severe bronchitis and laryngitis.” However, she will be co-hosting and singing on ABC’s “The View” today. She’s also been able to make a number of public appearances during her bout of “throat problems.” Something smells a little fishy to me.
Access Hollywood reports:
Katharine, who will be seated alongside co-hosts Barbara Walters, Joy Behar and Elisabeth Hasselbeck, will also perform the classic song “Somewhere over the Rainbow.” Kathy Griffin and Brittany Snow of the upcoming film, “John Tucker Must Die,” head up the guest list.
Maybe she’ll just be mute until she has to sing.

I watched her on the View today and Katherine agreed with Kathy Griffin that starving yourself is the best way to lose that last twenty pounds….I thought Katherine had bulimia, not anorexia. Anyway, totally inappropriate comment from our little Idol. Perhaps she needs reminded that the little girls who voted for her are still watching.
