Katherine Heigl Obviously Terrified Of Judd Apatow’s Wrath

December 7th, 2007 // 7 Comments

The increasingly annoying Katherine Heigl is now backtracking on us, and “clarifying” the recent comments she made about how she thought her hit movie “Knocked Up” sucked. Katherine was quoted by “Vanity Fair” as saying that she found the movie “hard to love” and said it’s portrayal of women was sexist as it portrayed women as “humorless shrews” and the guys as fun-loving. Dude, it’s a low brow Judd Apatow comedy. It’s not Betty Friedan. NOW she’s saying that the movie was the “best filming experience of her career.” Heigl stated today that “though I stand by my opinion”, she wanted to clarify her comments in VF. She says that Every person that was a part of making Knocked Up helped to encourage, support and inspire me. I never intended for anyone to think otherwise.” You know she realized what she’d said and knew that there was no way she was getting back onto the advancing cash train that is the Judd Apatow funny movie empire without backpedaling. No more Seth Rogen’s naked ass for you, young lady!

    She’s a jackass,
but I just love that red coat. Heh, sorry I’m just thinking about Christmas gifts.

A socialite’s life has no complete back bone. I have actually seen Super Bad and yes-there are no powerful female characters.

Try looking at your sources before you talk out your asses. Thanks.

    huh?!?

how ironic: ‘talking out your asses”…
try reading before commenting–the movie they’re talking about is not ‘superbad’ but ‘knocked up’.
    just saying….

Plus, they are writing about someone else’s opinoin about the movie, not their own. The opinion that THEY have is about Katherine Heigl. Geez Louise.

  5. Bird

    crap, “opinion.”

  6. Hey Cupcake

She’s giving Isaiah Washington a run for his money in the “please shut the eff up and stop back-pedaling” department. I mean, it’s fine if you’re conflicted about doing crappy/questionably crappy work for outrageous pay (isn’t that what most acting is?), but you’re dumb enough to SAY that? And then keep talking? Gah.

I used to like her; I thought she was sort of new and different, and not afraid to speak out about things (like Washington’s use of the “f” word). Now, I’m rapidly tiring of her sanctimonious nonsense.

Yeah sanctimonious is the word. I really can’t stand her. There is nothing fresh or different about her. One good tv role and she thinks she all that.
