Katie Holmes surprised passengers on the ‘E’ train in New York City when she hopped on the subway for just one stop Wednesday (October 10, 2012). She, she’s normal now. Just like you and me.
Yesterday, Holmes ran in to Ethan Hawke on her way home in New York City yesterday (October 11, 2012). Katie stopped to chat and admire Ethan’s daughter, Indiana Hawke. I’ve always wondered, do celebrities feel that they have to acknowledge one another if they see each other in public?
Then today (October 12, 2012), Katie attended the greet for her forthcoming Broadway comedy Dead Accounts, held at Sardi’s restaurant New York City.
Norbert Leo Butz, Katie Holmes, and the cast of the upcoming Broadway production of Theresa Rebeck’s Dead Accounts met the press on Friday, October 12 at the legendary Sardi’s Restaurant.
Jack O’Brien directs the dark comedy, which begins previews at the Music Box Theatre on November 3, in advance of a November 29 opening.
Butz stars as Jack, whose unexpected return home with a $27 million secret prompts serious questions from his sister (played by Holmes) and mother (played by Jayne Houdyshell) — namely, just how did he procure this enormous new fortune, and where is the wife (played by Judy Greer) that everyone hates? Josh Hamilton is also featured in the company as Jack’s childhood friend.
