Katie Holmes went on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night to promote her Reelz Channel miniseries The Kennedy’s.  Critically panned and said to be a little off the historical mark, the miniseries was rejected from The History Channel.  So now Holmes is hitting the pavement to showcase her best Jackie O to distract viewers from the actual plot.

Is it me, or does Joe Kennedy sound British? Another thing-Jackie Kennedy didn’t grow up in Boston, but she seems to have taken on the “Kennedy” accent.   And they used the theme for Pearl Harbor in the Reelz trailer? Come on!

Ushering in spring with a polka dot dress and red heels, Holmes switched gears and talked about life with hubby Tom Cruise.  The Cruise family holds meetings, and it’s important to pay attention to said meetings…or else!  One time in Colorado, Holmes was too busy with her Blackberry to realize Crazy Cruise had signed them all up for some sort of mountain-scaling exercise (she assumed they were going on a hike).  Kimmel recalled the time he and Cruise ziplined down Hollywood Boulevard.  Oh, that Tom Cruise.
