It looks like Katie Holmes is not too happy about the cover story from Star magazine that cries, “Addiction Nightmare: Katie Drug Shocker.” The Wrap is reporting that Holmes is expected to file a libel lawsuit in federal court on Tuesday seeking $50 million in damages from American Media Inc., owner of Star magazine.

According to Katie’s rep who spoke to The Wrap, she considers deliberately defamatory, suggesting that she used drugs.

While the article itself does not suggest that Holmes does drugs, the cover clearly does. “The cover is libelous no matter what they say inside the magazine,” said the representative.

If Katie is addicted to anything it is caffeine. She was spotted at a Starbucks yesterday (February 28) in Vancouver picking up a cup after she finished working out a gym.
