Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are hot on the search for a project to in which they can work together. An ‘insider’ reports that:

“He’s devoting himself to putting together the project that will not only make Katie a bona fide star, but will put him back in the good graces of the movie-going public.”

Rumor also has it he is bitter about not yet winning an Academy Award. So he is looking for something for substance versus mindless action and special effects. Tom is said to be actively in pursuit of a film that could best showcase their natural chemistry. Naturally, I’m thinking about the sparks that flew between Number 5 and Ally Sheedy in the 80′s classic, “Short Circuit,” and thinking that in a sequel, Tom and Katie would very successfully be able to portray the romantic connection between a robot and his human love.
