I think the ring is beautiful but that’s beside the point. When you truly love somebody it’s NOT supposed to be about the size of the ring or how much money they spend on you. It’s what’s in their heart and how they make you feel. Just because Tom is passionate about his beliefs doesn’t make him a freak. We should all be so strong in our convictions! I agree, it’s not supposed to be about the size of the ring… and Katie Holmes is so beautiful. But it’s easy to get suckered into buying a big ring, thinking it makes some kind of difference. But then sometimes the woman runs off, if that’s all she wanted… not Katie Holmes, of course, but my woman sure did. I think all my finacee wanted was another big ring to add to her collection [sigh]. What a learning experience!!! Never again!
