The woman I like to think of primarily as the mother of my hero, Suri Cruise, is currently hard at work in Australia filming Don’t Be Afraid of The Dark. And Katie Holmes might have another film lined up, depending on how negotiations go.

Holmes is reportedly in talks with studio chiefs to take on the role of “feisty New York businesswoman.” A snitch tells The Sun, “The character they want her to play is a really ballsy, high-powered company executive who tangles with Samantha.”

Maybe Suri can give her mother some tips on how to appear assertive.
