Katie Holmes Talks Judy Garland Tribute

While she’s freezing her rear end during filming of Don’t Be Afraid of The Dark in Australia, Katie Holmes is also talking up her So You Think You Can Dance performance.

The homage to Judy Garland is scheduled to air on Thursday during the 100th episode of the dance reality competition series. Of the experience, Katie tells Entertainment Tonight, “I like to sing and dance so it is really fun.”

As part of the performance, Katie danced and sang “Get Happy” in the style of Garland, from the 1950s musical Summer Stock. Additionally, the actress agreed to participate in order to raise the profile of the non-profit Dizzy Feet Foundation.

Let’s hope she lives up to the hype. Otherwise, Suri Cruise is going to ground her for a week for shaming the family.
