20 years after the historic fall of the Berlin Wall, the MTV Europe Awards will be held at the O2 World Arena in the reunified city. Katy Perry will be playing host for the event, which will play to an audience of 17,000 attendees.

Getting into the spirit of the celebration, costumes for the event have been inspired by the classic film, Cabaret. The singer tells Billboard, “Just like last year, I’m sure I’ll have butterflies in my stomach again and will try to give my very best.”

While she may have butterflies in her stomach, it looks like Perry had feathers on the rest of her body at a press conference for the event. Looking way more casual were newly shorn Pete Wentz and British singer, Joss Stone.
