Uh oh. Looks like Katy Perry‘s post break-up, man-hating admission cut down on her rebound prospects. Time to backpedal!
She’s now saying the whole “I’m going to be celibate” quote was just an attempt at making a funny.
“I am not going to be celibate,” she told People, referring to her split from Gym Class Heroes singer Travis McCloy. “That was a joke, and any fine journalist would have got that. Please. Celibacy for the whole year? I’d rather die.”
Sure. Blame the journalist for your just-me-and-my-kitty moment. We all have them after a particularly brutal break-up, Katy. There’s no shame.
But glad to see you’re single and ready to jingle (wink, wink). But you may want to try to control all those mood swings with your next fling.
