Ke$ha and Adam Lambert paid homage to their respective songwriters at the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers’ 28th annual Pop Music Awards at the Renaissance Hotel in Hollywood last night. Lukasz “Dr. Luke” Gottwalk and Max Martin were named songwriters of the year, as they were tied for writing five of the most performed songs of 2010 (“California Gurls,” “Dynamite,” and “Teenage Dream”), according to The Hollywood Reporter. Dr. Luke also won for “Party In The USA” and “Tik Tok,” for which Ke$ha presented him with his award.
Martin won for “DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love” and “Whataya Want From Me,” and was presented with his award by Lambert. Rod Stewart was presented with the ASCAP Founders Awards.
