Keira Knightley has regrets in regards to finding fame so early, and her father has an interesting take on the subject.
The young actress burst on to our screens in Bend In Like Beckham when she was just 17 years old – but wishes she could have had enjoyed a more private teen life.
She told Eclipse magazine: “My father says: ‘I wish this had happened in five years’ time, you could have been 20 and got really p***** and slept with loads of people and no one would have known.’
“That would have been great. It’s like you’ve got to be perfect. Holding any 20-year-old up as a role model is completely idiotic. I think that’s b******s.”
So let me get this straight, her father wishes that she could have had tons of drunk anonymous sex?

Her dad is a cool guy LOL and I agree looking at a 20 year old as a role model is dumb. Their so young and naive they dont know everything yet. Their only 20 and still experiencing life. Majority of 20 year olds have yet to mature. Dont worry Keira I dont look up to you anyway .. never have .. never will. :)

Keira as a role model? I don’t think so. There’s nothing wrong with her, but I don’t believe people sincerely look up to actresses anymore (except when they attempt to copy their “style”). She should be happy that she got in the business at 17, because it was her talent at such a young age that made her appealing. BTW her bf is seriously gorgeous.
