Keira Knightley‘s mom says that the people need to step off her daughter’s skeleton game, and realize that it’s totally natural to look like We Are The World was sung for your benefit.

Sharman Macdonald is a playwright and mother to the Pirates of the Carribean actress. She says that the press has been a bunch of “playground bullies” in their constant speculation about the actress’ weight.

“It’s a playground situation that we’re looking at with the Press – it’s a form of bullying – but what can we do?” she says.

Macdonald, a playwright, says that Keira has inherited her father’s physique.

She also adds that Keira embarked upon a special diet to do 2004′s King Arthur, but she lost so much weight that she had to get off the plan.

Keira herself has denied that she is anorexic.

“I’ve got a lot of experience with anorexia – my grandmother and
great-grandmother suffered from it, and I had a lot of friends at
school who suffered from it, so I know it’s not something to be taken
lightly and I don’t.  But I don’t have it, I am very sure of that,” she has said in the past. Well, ok, Dr. Knightley.

Keira has also said that she’s “naturally thin” and can “do nothing about it.” Howabout a cruller or two?

And this just in – Keira’s been replaced as the face of Chanel by Emma Watson of Harry Potter fame. Watson just signed a $6 million contract. Damn, hungry and out of a job. Ain’t that a bitch?
