This is the singers second rehab stint. The first was back in 1998 for drug and alcohol abuse, this round it’s only for alcohol abuse. The singer checked himself into a rehab clinic with his wife Nicole Kidman by his side.
Urban says, “I deeply regret the hurt this has caused Nicole and the ones that love and support me.” He adds, “One can never let one’s guard down on recovery and I’m afraid that I have.”
Urban’s statement ends with this message: “With the strength and unwavering support I am blessed to have from my wife, family and friends, I am determined and resolved to a positive outcome.”

News flash for gossip hoggers,
He isn’t in for drugs. And if Nicole was going to leave him over this I’m sure it would be all over the news for one, second I don’t think she would be at his side, canceling her promo’s coming up to be there for him.
It’s really too sad that people don’t check their facts through their offical sites with comments made by their publisicts or by them own selves before mocking their personal issues. That’s the stuff that starts hurtful rumors and it’s really sad and kind of pathetic that people go that far.

And I also just wanted to add that it seems from a few of these posts that you don’t really know what kind of a person Keith Urban is outside of “Omigaw…he’s in REHAB!! WHAT A SCUM!” And that is sad as well.
He happens to be a very amazing player, but it goes deeper then that. Some of these facts don’t seem to cross your mind before you trash him. No one is perfect. Well…satan thought he was and we all know what happened with him. lol
