Word has it that AnnaLynne McCord was able to look past Kellan Lutz‘s poor boyfriend skills when he showed up for a private visit to her VIP cabana on Saturday at Wet Republic in Las Vegas. McCord was in town to host Daylife Sundays at the club within the MGM Grand Resort Hotel Casino, rubbing elbows with such esteemed clubgoers like Jon Gosselin.

According to E!, the Twilight star tried to keep his identity undercover with a long-sleeved T-shirt and baseball cap, but witnesses noticed him nonetheless. This tryst comes after the two reportedly split after Lutz failed to get McCord a birthday gift.

The website reports, “Although he kept the curtains closed at her cabana while inside, poolside partiers definitely noticed his presence.” Let’s hope his presence included presents. Ha! Wordplay!
