Eclipse star, Kellan Lutz, is best known for his role as Emmett Cullen in the Twilight film series but is looking to branch out by starring in the Nightmare on Elm Street remake, set to premiere next year.
Although Kellan looks pretty adventurous here on his skateboard with his dog, he admits that the Freddie character scared him as a little kid. Lutz tells BlackBook, “There’s something about Freddie Kruger attacking you in your sleep that terrified me. I mean, that’s probably why I only get four hours of sleep a night, I hardly dream.”
Of course, what would an interview with Kellan be without some discussion of Twilight and Robert Pattinson? The New Moon star said of the fame RPattz has achieved has been difficult for him to withstand, “Rob’s handling it so well. I can’t fathom being in his shoes…I can’t imagine trying to act when you have all these people yelling your name and you’re doing an emotional scene.”
As for Kellan, he’s got his sights set on becoming an action movie hero. Of his idols, Lutz says, “You got Daniel Craig who’s overseas and Matt Damon‘s awesome. I love
his career choices. He does comedies, to dramas to big action movies,
like the Bourne franchise.”
Maybe his energetic little pup can be his on-screen sidekick. They can blow up police cars together.
