You gotta love Kelly Clarkson’s honesty. Here was her reaction when she found out that she would be sharing the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP)’s top honour (Song of the Year) with Mary J. Blige:

“Honestly, I thought it was a joke. Song of the year? I can name a lot of songs that are better then my songs.”

Mary Blige’s “Be Without You” can Kelly’s “Because of You” were named Song of the Year.
