Kelly Clarkson’s Manager Found in His Car Sobbing and Listening to “Since You’ve Been Gone” on Repeat

Well, not exactly. Although Kelly Clarkson’s manager, Jeff Kwatinetz, and she have decided to amicably go their separate ways, neither seems to be harboring any feelings of ill will. Kwatinetz works with the L.A. group, The Firm, which released a statement about Kelly’s decision to seek new management.

“Kelly Clarkson is an enormously talented artist. We are pleased to have served as her managers during her well-deserved rise to stardom and are proud of the role we played in backing her creative choices.”

Kelly on her part, also had nothing but good things to say in her statement: “I am blessed to work with so many talented people. We’ve accomplished some amazing things together. I wish them all the best.” Well, that’s nice and cordial of everyone. But that doesn’t make for a very interesting story. Sigh. At least someone could have PRETENDED to throw a punch or something. For my sake. Come on, guys. Pretend you’re fighting over Anna Nicole’s baby.

Interesting, first she breaks away from CD’s influence and now her manager. I’m wondering how her career will shape out 5 years from now -

As cordial and diplomatic as Kelly’s being with everyone on the surface, I’m still glad she’s giving them ALL hell behind the scenes. It’s nice to see an artist who fights for the art and isn’t everyone’s puppet. Rock on little “retro-sneakered” mama! Can’t wait for the album. The leak of the CD is already getting RAVE reviews from even non-fans.
