Kevin Spacey Lights Up Broadway

April 11th, 2007 // 1 Comment

A fan of all things Spacey, I was tickled to read that his latest performance was getting glowing reviews. His portrayal of James Tyrone Jr. in a Broadway revival of “A Moon for the Misbegotten” earned him the following kudos from am New York:

Starring Kevin Spacey, Eve Best and Colm Meaney, this is a remarkably wonderful production and a truly must-see theater event, thanks to the cast’s astonishing, raw performances. Observing the anxious sparring and difficult romance of Spacey and Best reminds us how the greatest works of O’Neill cannot be merely read.

Reading something like this makes me painfully aware of the last time it was that I actually checked out a book from the library. Perhaps if I blast some classical music in my apartment for a few minutes and NOT log in to MySpace for more than twenty minutes, I can salvage some of the brain matter that I consistently waste on a daily basis…

    Is that HALF-PINT???
Does Pa know she’s out past her bedtime?? She’s obviously NOT in Walnut grove anymore! And that dress is certainly NOT appropriate for the spellin’ bee competition down at the lil’ ol’ schoolhouse/church!(Nellie will be sooo jealous!) I hear Ma is cranky because she had to milk their cow this morning because Laura was too HUNGOVER!!
(Wait till Mrs. Olsen get’s wind of this!)
