Now that Britney’s out of rehab, she still has to prove to ex, Kevin Federline, that she’s capable of handling their two sons before he’ll be ready to hand them over to her any time soon. Although relations between the two parties seem to be extremely civil, Federline clearly still harbors hesitation over his estranged wife’s ability to care for their children.

A source close to Federline, 29, tells Usmagazine.com that the aspiring rapper and his lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan are “ecstatic, but cautiously focused on Britney’s continuing rehab recovery.”

At the moment, Britney has custodial visitation for both young boys, but the possibility of her gaining more custody rights is contingent upon her behavior, post-rehab.

“They are not going to return custody to Britney as a reward for doing her stint in rehab. Kevin’s had the children for six weeks and he will continue to have full custody.”

As much as I’d like to applaud Kevin for his seemingly mature behavior throughout Britney’s breakdown and stints in rehab, I’m still really confused as to what the man does for a living.
