Apparently, all prior statements attributed to Brooke Shields surrounding the incident in which Kiefer Sutherland engaged in an altercation with Proenza Schouler designer Jack McCollough have been untrue.
In order to clarify, her rep now says, “While at the party she was bumped into by Jack McCollough and Kiefer Sutherland became concerned. Kiefer has always been a gentleman in her company. Both Jack and Kiefer are friends of Ms. Shields and she regrets this unfortunate situation.”
As for Kiefer, although he’s not making an official comment, although his lawyer did say, “We are troubled by the untruthful and self-serving information circulating regarding Kiefer Sutherland and events of last Monday evening.” The actor has already turned himself in into NYC police to discuss assault charges.
Now, I know it might just be the conspiracy theorist in me, but am I the only one wondering if Victoria Principal is somehow involved?
