In addition to being a United States citizen, Kirtsen Dunst has announced that she is now a German citizen as well! The Melancholia actress, pictured strolling around New York City on October 6th, says that she is “now a real international lady” and can film in Germany without any issues.

Dunst, who recently won best actress at the Cannes Film Festival, is the child of a German father and Swedish mother, and even speaks a bit of German herself—at a “child’s level”. Said Kirsten, “It would be the greatest joy for me to act in a German film.” The 29-year-old also revealed that she would love to live in Berlin, which she describes as a “young city”.
