Kirsten Dunst took home “Best Actress” at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival Sunday for her turn in Melancholia.  Dunst, 29, posed  at a photocall in a Chanel haute couture dress, Chanel jewels and vintage Valentino shoes while happily clutching her award.

The film’s director, Lars Von Trier was thrown out of the festival for joking he was a Nazi and Hitler sympathizer.  The Denmark-born Von Trier was banned from coming within 328 feet of the festival (which is a tragedy.  Did you see how much fun the rich and fabulous were having?)
