It’s been a busy few days for Kristen Stewart. Yesterday (May 3rd) she and boyfriend Robert Pattinson left Vancouver after Breaking Dawn: Part 2 reshoots, and last night Bella Swan an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live in Hollywood. Why all the promotion? Oh, ya know. Stewart just has this little movie coming out June 1st. And by little, I mean epically awesome.
Stewart is currently promoting Snow White And The Huntsman, co-starring Chris Hemsworth, Charlize Theron and Sam Claflin. In addition to that, she’ll premiere On The Road at the Cannes Film Festival, which kicks off May 16th in the south of France. (cannot WAIT to see what she wears on the red carpet).
Claflin had nothing but good things to say about his co-star while promoting the BBC’s White Heat. ”She’s really really challenged herself physically, mentally, vocally—every sort of side of it. And she’s very hard working,” Claflin told E!‘s Ted Casablanca. “All I can say is she’s pulled it off marvelously. I hope everyone agrees.”
Duh! What’s more intriguing is that Claflin acknowledged the need for Stewart to move beyond her Twilight persona. ”Working beside her on- and off-et, she really is very focused on sort of changing her life after Twilight,” Claflin said of the California native. ”The Twilight [films] are coming to an end now and she wants to set out a career that will take her to new places.”
What SOCIALITE LIFE is eager to see is how Stewart pulls off the English accent, a challenge for any non-British actor. ”She’s [her character] completely different, she’s English for a start,” Claflin said. One hopes she’s been taking pointers from Pattinson.
