Twifans has obtained a translated version of a press conference held in Brazil, in which stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner chatted with local media. The Twilight Saga: New Moon stars fielded questions at the Grand Hyatt Hotel to promote the film’s upcoming premiere.
When Kristen was asked which of Bella’s love interests in the film would be the best choice, Stewart replied, “Jacob is who she should bewith . She feels free with him. Isn’t tense with him.” The actress added with a laugh, “But like everyone knows, the girls never make the best choice in these cases.”
However, lest we forget about Robert Pattinson, he appears as a ghostly apparition in New Moon, although Edward isn’t technically present. Kristen explains, “The reason that he appears in the movie more is because it’s basically a personification of Bella’s thoughts.”
While Kristen denies that Bella is “a fashion icon,” Taylor claims, “It’s because Kristen is beautiful, no matter what she wears.” Well isn’t that a sweet thing to say. Now, I might have to be Team Jacob as well.

No, she didn’t say she’s on Team Jacob. That article didn’t translate the entire quote. She says Edward is bigger than anything anyone would feel. She basically told it like it was in the book. If she had normal feelings then Jacob would be the right guy but her feelings for Edward are much more powerful than that.

It’s interesting she says that. It’s pretty much what Meyer wrote in her book. Twilight threads always debate this subject – Meyer makes it seem as though Bella cheated on Edward and made the wrong choice in choosing Edward.
