Exciting news, Twilight‘s Kristen Stewart has landed herself a new film role. Actor James Woods will be directing Kristen in the lead role for An American Girl. Woods has approached Kristen prior to her becoming famous and told her that he wouldn’t make the movie with anyone but her, and since reading the script, Stewart has been urgently wanting to get the movie made.
Woods talked to ComingSoon.net and spoke about the film’s plot synopsis: The film is about a woman who after high school finds herself wasting her life drinking and drugging in a small town in Indiana. During one particular night of boozing, she has sex with a guy in a quarry. “She gets taped doing it on somebody’s phone and in a small town,” says Woods, “her reputation is ruined and on a drunken whim, she joins the Marines.”
This smells like juicy role, and I can’t wait to see what Kristen does with it.
