For her role in Welcome to The Rileys as a stripper and prostitute, 19-year-old Kristen Stewart is makng an abrupt departure from her brooding-but-innocent trademark role of Bella Swan in the Twilight film series.
The actress stars in the film with James Gandolfini and Melissa Leo and was recently announced as part of the 2010 Sundance Film Festival lineup. All of the pictures feature Stewart wearing little or no clothing, lots of heavy eyeliner and a morose expression.
According to MTV News, “In the film, Stewart plays a prostitute and stripper named Mallory, who enters into the lives of a married couple (James Gandolfini and Melissa Leo) who are struggling after the death of their daughter.”
I just don’t understand when she had time to make all these movies. Someone’s been busy!

Right on schedule. Actress has to prove that she’s a big girl now and quite the modern girl. What does she do? Why, strip, of course.
Work that pole girl. Such a cliche. Why is it that when an “actress” feels she has to prove that she’s an adult now, she strips for the guys?
I guess that in Hollywood, you’re not a real actress unless you’ve done a pole dance and showed your t*ts.

Actress with a fairly impressive body of work finds mainstream success. What do people do? Why, go on a message board and write negative comments even though they don’t have the facts straight, of course.
What’s “right on schedule?” This movie was filmed a long time ago. People always assume the next movie after someone’s ‘big break movie’ was filmed afterward as a direct reaction to it, when this is probably an indie film that’s getting more attention because of Twilight. As far as her trying to become a real “actress,” she already is. Whether or not you like this particular actress, attacking successful women’s choices- that’s cliche.

These websites are always looking for more clicks, and they’re probably over-emphasizing the stripping aspect of the movie to do so.

I don’t i keep hearing KS is a great actress and sometimes i see it…..At times i find what she’s doing believable…but then i find that she plays the same character types all the time…troubled, tortured….I mean seriously can you see KS play happy??
I think Kstew is a wonderful actress. Look at her work in The Cake Eaters and as for playing happy Camden….in Cutlass she is
I think she likes to play those roles. She has some offers but she said she turns it down if she doesn’t like the scripts. She likes to play when she is nervous reading the scripts.

Its to bad Rob doesnt see how beautiful and amazing she is . I really like her alot. They cant be together or they would be seen together like Taylor and taylor Swift they would have no reason to hide it that much.
