Only a week ago Anderson Cooper was getting battered by Egyptian mobs and then he comes home and hangs out with Lady Gaga. What a life!

Gaga and Cooper go around NYC and Gaga’s old haunts, showing up at her old studio apartment. She couldn’t get anyone to open the front door, so she did what any normal person does – press all the buttons on the buzzer.

“We’re going to do it the New York way,” she grinned. Once they get to her apartment, the tenant wouldn’t let them in so the duo just squatted in a stairwell as the singer went through a box of old momentos.
