Last night Justin Bieber (wearing Dolce&Gabbana) surprised everyone by making an unpromoted appearance at the MuchMusic Awards in Toronto. The lil’ singing sensation nabbed “International Video Of The Year By A Canadian” and “UR Fave Artist” honors while his girlfriend, Selena Gomez hosted the ceremony. Lady Gaga picked up “International Video Of The Year” for “Judas,” telling fans, “I love you so much, little monsters in Canada. This award was the most important one to me because it’s from you. You are so beautiful.” The CBC said of Gaga’s “Born This Way” performance: “Gaga emerged from a plastic cocoon clad in an elaborate outfit of black feathers. She soon shed that and strutted around the stage with tufts of fake bright blue hair positioned under her arms and over the crotch of her black pants.”

Freakin’ finally: Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder went public with their relationship at the awards show, convincing us that Elena DOES belong with Damon (just kidding…for now). Dobrev looked gorgeous in a Georges Chakra dress, and Somerhalder looked like his regular smokeshow self. When asked who he was most excited to see, Somerhalder said “Nina Dobrev!” Marry me.
