Last night Larry King, whose famous chat show Larry King Live has been on the air for the past 25 years, announced he was calling it quits this fall. And after 50+ years in the business, Larry, 76, certainly has the right to hang up his suspenders and spend time with his family.
He’ll be filming occasional specials for CNN still, so we’ll see him around. Did you know that Larry’s show made the Guinness Book of World Records for having the longest running show with the same host in the same time slot? Impressive.
Congrats to Larry for a long career and many thanks for the interviews he’s done with countless people from around the world!
But the sharks are in the water and it’s rumored that the UK’s Piers Morgan is up for the job, as is Ryan Seacrest.
