The bitch is back. Okay, I may now actually watch the pilot. Original Melrose Place actress Laura Leighton has joined the CW pilot in a recurring role.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Leighton will reprise her role as scheming Sydney Andrews. The character was last seen in the fifth season finale in 1997 when she was run over on her wedding day and presumed dead.
Sydney will apparently return as the landlady to the new crop of tenants. I’m so looking forward to the scene when she pushes someone who’s wearing a wedding dress into the pool.
