Rounding out Glee‘s four Golden Globe nominations is Lea Michele, who plays the obnoxious-yet-extremely talented singer Rachel Berry in FOX’s hit TV series.
“I just couldn’t believe — and I still can’t believe — that I was nominated in the category that I’m in, with the caliber of actresses I’m amongst. It’s such an out-of-body experience, really,” said Michele in an interview with Entertainment Weekly about finding out of her nomination.
Hard at work along with her cast mates, Michele is currently filming new spring episodes. She won’t be celebrating too much on set and hopes her tears have run dry after the fall finale and shock over the award nomination.
“I literally drained myself of all of my tears saying goodbye to the cast because we weren’t sure if we were gonna get picked up for the back nine or if that was gonna be the last episode,” said Michele.
With the success of Glee, Michele is bound to remain in the Hollywood spotlight. And if she could have any start demand, what would it be?
“If it could get me into Katsuya without a reservation, that would be amazing. Easy access to sushi without a reservation would be amazing,” she laughs.
I totally agree.

Congratulations to Lea! She blew me away in the season finale when she sang “Don’t Rain On My Parade”. She is such a talented actress and singer and that nomination was well deserved. I think this girl is going to go very far!
GO Lea! She is amazingly talented. She blew everyone out of the water with her rendition of Don’t Rain On My Parade.
