Uh oh. This morning’s cover of UsWeekly blinked with the startling headline of a very married LeAnn Rimes and her “steamy motel room tryst” with her very married co-star Eddie Cibrian.
Apparently, the two worked together on some Lifetime movie, Northern Lights, and sort of forget about their spouses. They made out in a Laguna restaurant (which UsWeekly, those prying harpies, caught on tape) and then spent a sizzling three hours together in a motel room.
Sounds like it could be a script for a Lifetime movie actually. Perhaps it was just “research”? A Lee Strasberg-esque form of method acting?
While we won’t be rude and insinuate that LeAnn’s twinkly-eyed “back up dancer” man is anything but a loving heterosex–er– husband, she’d like us all to know those hours in the hotel room aren’t as they seem. But thanks us for our concern, anyway. She said on her website:
“This is a difficult time for me and my loved ones, but I appreciate
all your continued support,” she writes Wednesday. “I would like to
assure all of you that this is a place for you to hear things directly
from me and as you all know, not everything in our lives is always
black and white.”
Nope. Sometimes it’s a nice, sprayed on bronzed color to accentuate a six pack.
UPDATE: LeAnn’s husband posted to his Twitter account, “I love my wife.”

She’s right — “not everything in our lives is black & white”; however, cheating and lying is pretty black and white and NEVER, EVER the right thing to do. If you’re unhappy, be honest about it and either fix it or get out. Be respectful enough of the significant other YOU’VE CHOSEN not to humiliate them in front of the world.
