Busy bee Leighton Meester is set to hoping to squeeze in the filming of two movies during a season of production on Gossip Girl.

The CW television star has been cast in The Roommate and also hopes to co-star opposite Zac Efron in a modern adaptation of Beauty and the Beast.

Entitled Beastly, the film will air on CBS with Leighton playing the “beauty” role and Efron tentatively set to star as a teenager cursed by a classmate to be a “beast.”

I don’t know about you guys, but as cute as Leighton is, I feel confident Zac could easily play both roles. He’s mighty pretty, y’all.
