Emmy award-winning Tyra “Baby Oprah” Banks recently welcomed to her talk show Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester.
Tyra donned her “concerned mother” weave and eyelashes for the episode and did her best impression of a tiger eyes-making Barbara Walters, trying to get Leighton to talk about being the victim of abuse and (hopefully) cry. Because few things make Tyra happier than getting to console a girl she’s made cry.
Jail-baby Meester evaded the question from her fellow CW star, directing the focus instead to her pet cause of preventing domestic violence. But rest assured, Tyra will be calling Leighton every day until she cracks. It’s investigative journalism at its best! Don’t dare her to dress up like Michelle Obama to prove a point, ’cause she’ll do it!

Forget Blake Lively, Leighton is the real star of the show! Gawd, can they stop building up Serena van der woodsen? Everyone wants to be Blair, look like her, dress like her! She used to be a sweet but misguided girl who was just a victim of circumstances in the first season, now they’re trying to turn her into a hateful character. That’s not the Blair we all knew – and loved!

Leighton is gorgeous and great to see celebrities getting so involved with charity. As Tyra said, she seems so knowledgable, not just doing it for publicity. Respect!
